HOLLAND, MI – Wednesday, November 5, 2008 – Get involved in community and register for the 80th Anniversary 2009 Tulip Time Festival Community Dutch Dance Program. Registration information is currently available on the Tulip Time Festival’s website at http://www.tuliptime.com/community-dutch-dance. For those of you who have always wanted to learn Dutch Dancing but never had the opportunity, the Tulip Time Community Dutch Dance program is for you. Register TODAY to reserve your place in class!

An organizational meeting will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2008, 7 p.m. at Tulip Time Festival Office. Snow date will be Wednesday, December 17, 2008, 7 p.m. at Tulip Time Festival Office. This meeting will cover the basic requirements of becoming a Community Dutch Dancer as well as program guidelines, group formations, costumes and an opportunity for Q & A. Feel free to bring a family member, friend, group of people or just yourself to participate in this unique, educational and physical experience.

Community Dutch Dance practices will begin January 5, 2009 and held Monday and Wednesday evenings at East K-8th, 373 E. 24th St., Holland, MI.

Community Dutch Dance costume inspection will be held on March 5, 2009.

Attendance at this meeting is mandatory in order to participate in the Community Dutch Dance program. THE SUCCESS OF THIS PROGRAM IS DEPENDENT ON SUFFICIENT COMMUNITY INTEREST AND WILL BE CANCELED IF THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE AT THE ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING ON DECEMBER 10.
