Tulip Time Festival Luncheon Announces Guest Speaker
HOLLAND, MI – April 6, 2009. The Tulip Time Festival is pleased to welcome the Ambassador of the Netherlands to the United States of America, Renée Jones-Bos to the 2009 Tulip Time Festival Luncheon. The Ambassador will discuss the relationship between the Netherlands and the United States; two countries-one spirit united by values, history, and a vision for the future. The Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, May 6 at the Hope College, Dow Center, 168 E. 13th St., Holland, Michigan. Doors will open at 11am and the luncheon will begin at 11:45.
Ambassador Renée Jones-Bos was born and raised in the Netherlands. She did her undergraduate studies in Belgium and received a Master of Arts from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom. Jones-Bos has extensive experience in Foreign Affairs and Human Rights issues. Her visit coincides with the 400th Anniversary of Dutch-American friendship and highlights the unique heritage and bond that the community of Holland shares with the Netherlands.
