Tulip Time Quilt Show – Call for Community Artists

HOLLAND, Mich. – January 13, 2020 -- Tulip Time Festival (www.tuliptime.com) is announcing a call for community artists to participate in the 2020 Quilt Show. The Quilt Show is a unique display of beautiful, hand-made bed and wall quilts created by area quilters. The show takes place at the Holland Area Arts Council where all of the quilts are expertly displayed in the Padnos and Armstrong galleries. Visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorites as part of the Viewers’ Choice competition. Cash prizes are awarded for 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rdand 4^th place and are announced on Saturday, May 9.

Quilters interested in submitting quilts can do so through Wednesday, March 18th. Entry forms are available at the Tulip Time office or can be downloaded at www.tuliptime.com/quilt-show.

The Tulip Time Quilt Show is now part of the Visual Arts Series, presented by Alpenrose Restaurant. In addition to the Quilt Show, the series includes the Festival Artwork Exhibit, the Klompen Garden winning art, and our newest addition – the Dutch Dance Exhibit. All are located at the Holland Area Arts Council. The hours will be Sat., May 2, 10a-5p; Sun., May 3, 12-3p; Mon., May 4 through Fri., May 8, 10a-8p; Sat., May 9, 10a-1p; and Sun., May 10, 12-4p. Admission is $10/p and can be purchased online at www.tuliptime.com, via phone at 616-396-4221, at the Tulip Time Office located at 42 W. 8^thStreet, or at the door.
