We look forward to seeing you at Tulip Time 2021!

As we welcome guests to Tulip Time it is important to note that we have made some very important changes to the visitor experience.

In response to COVID-19, Tulip Time follows the recommendations and directives of the Ottawa County Health Department, the CDC and other local and state officials and we encourage our guests to do the same. The health and safety of our visitors, staff and volunteers are of utmost importance. When you visit, here’s what we’ll be doing together to keep each other safe:

Limiting number of guests by using timed ticketing

For your safety and comfort, timed ticketing is required to limit the number of guests inside each event and exhibit at any given time. This allows us to maintain a steady flow of visitors in accordance with recommended social-distancing guidelines.

When purchasing your ticket online please select your desired date and arrival time. Tickets for dates and time slots are limited. Admission to events and exhibits will only be valid for the arrival time you have selected. It is important that you arrive within 30 minutes following the arrival time on your ticket. Guests will not be granted access outside of their time slot.

Each timed ticket entry allows for a guest experience of a prescribed length (see individual events). If capacity limits allow, longer visits can be accommodated. Tulip Time continuously monitors and adheres to mandated guest capacity limits.

Online ticket purchases only - No cash transactions

All tickets must be purchased online in advance. You’ll be able to enter by showing an electronic or printed copy of your receipt to our guest services team. Walk-ups will need to purchase tickets online via a mobile device if tickets are available for the desired time slot.

Masks and/or face shields required

For your safety and the safety of those around you, masks are required for all guests ages 2 and up for the duration of your visit. If you are unable to wear a mask for health reasons, you must wear a face shield.

Maintain a safe distance

Signs have been placed throughout the exhibit to remind you to maintain a six foot distance between you and other guests. In some cases, we have created a one-way experience through the exhibit for you to minimize interactions with other guests. Please follow the directional signs and leave plenty of room between yourself and the other guests.

Keep your hands clean

Please refrain from touching surfaces unless absolutely necessary. Please don't hesitate to use the hand sanitizing stations located throughout the events.

Designated times for high-risk visitors

If you consider yourself high-risk due to age (65+) or a medical condition, we recommend visiting Tulip Time on off-peak days, generally weekdays, for less crowds.

Keep us safe – Keep us open

After last year’s cancellation of the festival, we are thrilled to offer fun and exciting events this year, but, are only able to do so if safety guidelines are followed by all individuals. Please help us keep our events safe and open for all to enjoy by adhering to these guidelines – do not enter if you feel sick or are exhibiting any symptoms of illness, wear a mask or face shield, maintain a minimum of 6 feet between you and other guests, wash your hands and use hand sanitizer often.

Tulip Time reserves the right to require that visitors who do not follow posted safety guidelines or instructions from our staff will be asked to leave the premises.

Thank you in advance for helping to ensure a safe and healthy experience at Tulip Time!
