Pedal the Provinces | Saturday, Sep 7 2019
7:00am – 4:00pm
Inspired by the Elfstedentocht, or the Eleven-City Skating Tour in the Netherlands, this fall bike tour will take you through historic sites in the Holland/Zeeland area. 2019 will mark the fourth anniversary of Pedal the Provinces! We are proud of the way the event has grown, the men and women who have joined us on event day and the partnerships we’ve created.
We will have four different routes all of which start and finish at Windmill Island Gardens and include breakfast at Graafschap Church. All registrations include breakfast, rest stops, SAG support and post-ride food and refreshments at the After-Party.
We've joined forces with Kid's Food Basket to raise awareness and resources possible to support the number of meals the Holland location is able to provide. Kid's Food Basket nourishes children to be their best, in school and in life. Through the Sack Supper program, kids receive nutritionally balanced meals, filling a gap that schools and parents often cannot afford to meet.
A food drive will take place between now and the event on September 7. Dry goods from Kid's Food Basket Wish List can be dropped off at the Tulip Time office at 42 W. 8th Street in downtown Holland. As a thank you, donors will receive a coupon code for $5.00 off a Pedal the Provinces registration fee. Event participants can also bring food donations to packet pickup and on-site registration on September 7.
Registration closes Friday, September 6 at Noon.
