First Bloem 2022

We are pleased to announce the 2022 First Bloem Festival Artwork Competition through which a work of art is selected for the official Tulip Time poster. Each year, the Festival invites artists to submit entries from which a juror selects the Top 20 pieces. Mary Sundstrom, Visual artist and Exhibitions Director of the Holland Area Arts Council, is the 2022 juror.

Artists in Ottawa, Allegan, Kent, Muskegon and Kalamazoo counties submitted over 100 entries in September. Click here to see the Facebook post revealing the top 20 from all of those entries! One of them will be selected as the official Tulip Time poster for 2022!

The winner of the 2022 competition will be announced at the First Bloem Reveal, a special unveiling reception held in February.
