Transportation While In Holland

Downtown Holland Park & Ride

Avoid traffic and parking during Tulip Time by riding the MAX bus into downtown Holland to get close to the action! The shuttles circulate though the heart of Downtown Holland the entire week of the festival. Park & Ride lots are located at D&W Fresh Market and Ditto Upscale Resale. See the interactive map and select "Parking & Shuttles" for all the details and routes.

Shuttles run from 10am – 6pm May 5 – 13, 2018 and arrive at stops every 20 – 30 minutes.
One time rides are $1 per ride on both shuttle routes.
Purchase a $5 wristband for unlimited rides May 5 – 13, 2018 on both shuttle routes. Wristbands can be purchased at Ditto, D&W, Dutch Marktplaats or online at www.catchamax.org.


Orange Express

The Orange Express. Park Once, Ride the Bus.

May 5 – 6, 2018! This FREE park-and-ride service runs the first weekend from 9am – 7pm. Park at Nelis’ Dutch Village (12350 James St.) and take the Orange Express bus to Windmill Island Gardens and Downtown Holland to explore all that Tulip Time has to offer without the hassle of traffic. 


Getting to Holland

Amtrak

Holland is a stop on the Chicago to Grand Rapids route. The train leaves Holland for Chicago (arriving from Grand Rapids) at approximately 6:50am (ET) every day. The train arrives in Holland from Chicago at approximately 10:30pm (ET) every evening.
Special service from Chicago to Holland has been added for May 5 and May 12!
