Tulip Time Festival Cancels Dutch Dance Practices

HOLLAND, Mich. – March 13, 2020, Tulip Time Festival (www.tuliptime.com) will be suspending Dutch Dance practices in light of growing concerns over COVID-19.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed an executive order Friday, March 13 that cancels events over 250 people and all large gatherings in shared spaces over 250 people. The temporary restriction starts Friday, March 13 at 5 p.m. and ends on Sunday, April 5 at 5 p.m.

Due the governor’s executive order on large gatherings, Tulip Time Festival has cancelled Alumni Dutch Dance practice until April 8, 2020. Additionally, due to state-wide school cancellations, Tulip Time has also decided that practices for Kinder, Middel and High School Dutch Dance are suspended until further notice.
